The Million Dollar Question

I recently had an assignment due for college which involved designing a tool that could be used to share the good news about Jesus with people.
I decided to adapt an idea I had seen used which involves printing a short ‘thought raiser’ on a fake 1 million dollar note to be handed out to people (or even left near an ATM for people to pick up – what do you reckon, would you pick one up thinking you’d hit the jackpot!?). I also put together a website with a more detailed explanation of the gospel.

On the million dollar note, I wrote:

What’s worth more than a million dollars?

Jesus asks “What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36) The answer to Jesus’ question is that it’s not good at all! It is a tragedy – because your eternity is worth more than all the things you can gain – more than a million dollars!
Yet, when you fail to put God first in your life, valuing possessions, leisure, career, popularity and even family over God, you have put yourself in the tragic position of forfeiting your soul.
God loves us, and does not want us to stay lost. He sent Jesus to save us through his death on the cross, which takes away the punishment we deserve, if we believe and put him first in our lives.

The website I put together is www.gospelresource.blogspot.com/

Please check it out – I’d appreciate any feedback.
